Description

Mythological visualization with music is a key to unlocking the connection between one's conscious and unconscious self

The Sex Bomb Saga is a series of films based on the music of MUSE. In the tradition of Pink Floyd's The WallThe Sex Bomb Saga is a visual spectacle which chronologically follows Muse's albums from beginning to end. However, unlike The Wall, this series includes more narrative elements to further develop the characters and create a more fluid story line.

This blog is an adaptation of the musical film series I have created based on the analysis and interpretation of the music of MUSE. I believe music should be seen as well as heard. My attempt through my musical analysis is to connect people back to the collective unconscious.

There are a few things to know before you begin to read this blog:
1.) You must already be familiar with the music of MUSE.
2.) The songs are in chronological order of each album.
3.) First read over the entry before listening to the music along with the words.
4.) The name of the song you are to listen to is in each blog entry.
5.) It is important to cue the music when it says ****** CUE "(Song Title)" ******
6.) It is important to stop the music when it says ****** END "(Song Title)" ******
7.) Part of the story is told without music, so please pay attention to the cues^
8.) The characters in this series are nameless. This was done intentionally to connect the story to archetypes found in the collective unconscious. Deal with it.
9.) These entries are adapted from screenplay format.
(O.S.) = Off Screen
(V.O.) = Voice Over
(O.C.) = Off Camera
INT. = Interior Scene
ENT. = Exterior Scene
I/E. = Scene uses both Interior and Exterior shots
10.) There are three different time periods in which this first release takes place.
You can follow where the story is by which "Girl" is being represented.
Old Girl1 - Oldest point in time
Old Girl2 - After first procedure
New Girl- Present Day
11.) This series was designed for audiences to experience music in a new way. It is my belief that music is connected to the collective unconscious. In turn, music creates mythologies which are the cornerstone of human existence. I believe that by creating a narrative to particular music opens up a whole new way of thinking.
With all that being said, I hope you enjoy experiencing music in a new way!!
